Hi, Dan Here

Hello, Remy wants us to write some blog stuff on here. While I'm thinking about doing some poetry stuff a little later on (maybe sharing some of our own and hoping other people - like you - will share some of yours too) I thought I could just start wuth some introductions. I'm Dan and I sing and play guitar in Bonk!. Aside from music I really enjoy watching terrible B movies, with a particular inclination to low budget 80s flicks and outrageous horror motion pictures, and reading. Also I fucking love Doctor Who (like... A LOT). Maybe it could be cool to update people with what I'm watching and reading at the moment as I guess the later has a particularly large influence on my writing and lyrics. And perhaps you, if you're reading this, could let me know some books you have enjoyed or learned from or some terrible movies you've particularly enjoyed. As it's the start of a new year I guess I'll do a quick rundown of my favorite movies and films I've absorbed over the 2023 period: Films: - Killer Clowns from Outter Space - Frankenhooker - Slugs - The Stuff - Velocipastor - Thankskilling - Killer Sofa Books: -Brave New World -1984 -Zen and The Art of Motorcycle Maintenance -The Stranger -Myth of Cycaphus -Hitchickers Guide -Perfume -This is Going to Hurt Anyone else read/seen any of these? Like them/hate them? Little bit of both? Maybe you got some thoughts on these or they've influenced you creativly or maybe you have some suggestions for other things for me to check out based on these. Anyways, if you have made it this far I guess you must be kind of interested in what I have to say, or unbelievably bored with everything your day has to offer at this current moment.
